Cinnamon Banana Rolls

Delicious, gooey Cinnamon Banana Rolls that are perfect for a cozy breakfast or afternoon snack.

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar (for cinnamon mixture)
  • Optional: icing or glaze for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour in the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk together.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and egg until combined.
  5. Sprinkle in the baking soda, salt, all-purpose flour, cinnamon, and sugar. Fold gently until just combined.
  6. Dust a surface with flour, transfer the dough, and knead gently until smooth.
  7. Roll the dough into a rectangle, about 12×16 inches.
  8. Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl for the filling.
  9. Spread melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon mixture evenly.
  10. Roll tightly from the long side to create a log.
  11. Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
  12. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  13. Cool for 10-15 minutes before adding icing or glaze.

Notes

Serve warm, topped with icing or dusted with powdered sugar. Great with coffee or tea!
