Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Breast

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  3. Add the butter and garlic: Remove chicken, lower heat, add butter, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Make the creamy sauce: Pour in the heavy cream, mix in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and let simmer until thickened.
  5. Finish with Parmesan: Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Return the chicken: Add chicken back to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  7. Garnish and serve: Top with parsley and serve hot.
