One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A comforting one-pan dish featuring tender chicken breasts sautéed with egg noodles in a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp real butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the pan.
  2. Flip the chicken once golden brown, add minced garlic around, and sauté for a couple of minutes.
  3. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Gently nestle the egg noodles into the pan, ensuring they are submerged in the broth.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium, cover, and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is cooked and noodles are al dente.
  6. Remove from heat, toss in remaining butter and chopped parsley. Stir until well combined.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, swap the chicken with tofu and use vegetable broth.
