A delightful dessert that combines juicy peaches and strawberries under a crunchy oat topping, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cups peaches, peeled and sliced (about 3 peaches)
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the fruit filling by tossing the sliced peaches and strawberries with brown sugar, cornstarch, salt, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  3. Make the topping by combining oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Assemble by spreading the oat mixture evenly over the fruit filling.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
