Baked Salmon

A delicious and easy-to-make baked salmon recipe that brings family and friends together.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like dill or parsley), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
  3. Season the salmon fillets skin-side down, drizzle with olive oil, and rub gently.
  4. Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper evenly over the fillets.
  5. Add lemon slices on top of each fillet, followed by fresh herbs if using.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily.
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes after baking.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the salmon for 1-2 minutes at the end of cooking.
