Beef and Pepper Rice Bowl

A quick and easy one-bowl meal that combines ground beef, vibrant bell peppers, and seasoned rice, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the onions for about 3-4 minutes until they become translucent.
  3. Brown the ground beef, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until it’s fully cooked.
  4. Add the bell peppers and jalapeños, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  5. Season the mixture with garlic powder, soy sauce, and black pepper, and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
  6. Incorporate the cooked rice, folding it into the mixture until well combined.
