Easily make creamy, delicious yogurt at home using your Instant Pot with just a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 gallon of milk
  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt (with live cultures)
  • Toppings (e.g., blueberries, granola, sweetener)

Instructions

  1. Sanitize your equipment. Make sure you sanitize your Instant Pot and any utensils you’ll be using.
  2. Pour your milk into the Instant Pot and seal the lid. Select the ‘Yogurt’ setting, then hit ‘Adjust’ until it reads ‘Boil.’
  3. Once your milk has boiled, the Instant Pot will beep. Remove the lid and let the milk cool to about 110°F (43°C).
  4. Scoop out about a cup of the warm milk into a small bowl. Whisk in your 1/2 cup of plain yogurt until it’s nice and smooth.
  5. Seal the lid again, select the ‘Yogurt’ function, and set the timer for 8 hours.
  6. Once your yogurt cycle is complete, carefully remove the lid, and transfer to clean containers and let them chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours to set.

Notes
