Black Pepper Chicken

A flavor-packed dish featuring tender chicken coated in a savory black pepper sauce, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 pound Chicken Thighs or Breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Black Pepper, freshly cracked
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • Green Onions, for garnish
  • Sesame Seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken by trimming excess fat and cutting it into bite-sized pieces. Season generously with salt and 1 tablespoon of black pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil until it shimmers.
  3. Cook the chicken in a single layer for 5-7 minutes until browned on one side. Flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Prepare the sauce by adding another tablespoon of black pepper, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Sauté for about a minute.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and stir to coat the chicken. Simmer on low for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Toss in the chopped green onions just before removing from heat.
  7. Plate the Black Pepper Chicken and enjoy!

Notes

This dish can be served over steamed rice and garnished with sesame seeds and extra green onions.
