Chicken Avocado Melt Sandwich

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: If you haven’t shredded your chicken yet, simply chop or shred the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Make the mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sliced avocado, garlic powder, onion powder, a pinch of salt, and pepper.
  3. Assemble the sandwich: Place half of your mixture on two slices of bread and sprinkle with a generous amount of shredded cheddar.
  4. Butter it up: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add one tablespoon of butter.
  5. Grill to perfection: Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until it’s golden and crispy, then flip the sandwich.
  6. Slice and serve: Remove the sandwich from the skillet, let it cool for a minute, then slice in half.
