A sweet twist on a savory classic, this Chocolate Strawberry Bruschetta combines crispy bread with luscious dark chocolate and fresh strawberries, topped with balsamic glaze and mint.

  • 1 Baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
  • 3.5 oz Dark Chocolate (at least 60% cocoa)
  • 1 pint Fresh Strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Glaze
  • Fresh Mint, for garnish
  • 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette, arrange on a baking sheet, and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden.
  4. Chop dark chocolate into small pieces and melt using a microwave or double boiler.
  5. Rinse strawberries, slice, and toss with balsamic glaze.
  6. Spread melted chocolate on toasted baguette slices, top with strawberries, drizzle with more balsamic, and garnish with mint.
  7. Serve immediately while warm and gooey.
