Bang Bang Salmon Bites

Crispy, flavorful salmon bites drizzled with a creamy, sweet-and-spicy sauce, perfect for appetizers or a light main dish.

  • 1 pound salmon fillets (skin removed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven or skillet to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat your salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and cut them into 1-inch cubes.
  3. Toss the salmon pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Place the seasoned salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or add to a hot skillet and cook as preferred.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or sauté for 6-8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  6. Whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice in a small bowl.
  7. Toss the cooked salmon bites in the sauce until well coated.

Notes

Serve with chopped green onions or sesame seeds and lime wedges.
