Pumpkin Dump Cake

A delightful and easy-to-make fall dessert that blends sweet pumpkin and spices, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (e.g., pecans or walnuts)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth.
  3. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it with melted butter or cooking spray.
  4. Layer the pumpkin mixture in the dish and sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly on top.
  5. Add the chopped nuts and drizzle with melted butter.
  6. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes
