Easy Stromboli Dinner

A flavorful twist on a classic Italian-American stromboli, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

  • 1 lb Pizza Dough
  • 1 to 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Pepperoni, sliced
  • ½ cup Bell Peppers, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 12 x 18 inches.
  3. Spread shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch border.
  4. Layer with pepperoni, sliced bell peppers, and any other toppings.
  5. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil over the ingredients.
  6. Roll the dough tightly away from you, pinching and sealing the edges as you go.
  7. Transfer the rolled stromboli seam side down onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Brush the surface with the beaten egg and make a few small slits on top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  10. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Feel free to customize the fillings to your taste! Serve with marinara for dipping.
