Grilled Sea Bass with Herb Butter

A simple yet elegant grilled sea bass served with homemade herb butter, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 2 sea bass fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Herb Butter: In a small bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, and lemon juice. Mix everything together until it’s well combined.
  2. Preheat the Grill: Get your grill nice and hot!
  3. Prep the Sea Bass: Pat the sea bass fillets dry, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Start Grilling: Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes without moving.
  5. Flip and Finish: Carefully flip the fillets and grill for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Plate with Herb Butter: Remove the sea bass and let the herb butter melt over the warm fillets.

Notes

Serve with a colorful summer salad or grilled vegetables. Lemon wedges on the side add a zesty touch.
