Graveyard Taco Dip

A creamy, zesty taco dip layered to resemble a spooky graveyard, perfect for Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Cream Cheese
  • Taco Meat (ground beef, turkey, or plant-based)
  • Lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • Olives (black or chopped pickles)
  • Sour Cream
  • Cheddar Cheese (grated)

Instructions

  1. Prep the taco meat: In a skillet over medium heat, add your choice of ground meat. Sprinkle in taco seasoning and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Create the cream cheese base: In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with a dollop of sour cream and lime juice. Mix until smooth.
  3. Assemble the layers: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly as the first layer in a serving dish. Add taco meat in an even layer.
  4. Leafy green layer: Sprinkle shredded lettuce generously over the taco meat.
  5. Final touches: Use slices of olives as little tombstones on top of the lettuce. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the dip.

Notes

Serve with tortilla chips, veggie sticks, or pita bread. Consider additional toppings like jalapeños for a spicy kick!
