Indulge in homemade Copycat Twix Bars featuring layers of crunchy cookie, smooth caramel, and rich chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups caramel candies
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Beat together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy—about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add in the all-purpose flour and salt, mixing on low speed until the dough comes together.
  4. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden. Allow to cool.
  5. Combine the caramel candies and heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until melted and smooth—about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Pour the melted caramel over the cooled cookie layer and let set for about 30 minutes.
  7. Microwave the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals until melted, then pour over the caramel layer.
  8. Let set at room temperature or in the fridge for about an hour before slicing into bars.

Notes
