  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add in the granulated and brown sugars, beat until fluffy, then add the eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then add to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the fresh blueberries gently.
  6. Scoop balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden on the edges.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

You can freeze the cookie dough for later use, and feel free to experiment with flavors like lemon zest or chocolate chips.
