Iced Raspberry Vanilla Chai

A refreshing drink that combines the warm spices of chai with tart raspberries and vanilla for a delightful summer beverage.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chai tea (brewed and chilled)
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons honey (to taste)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew the chai tea. If you’re using loose-leaf chai, add 2 tablespoons to 2 cups of hot water and let it steep for 5-7 minutes. Allow it to chill.
  2. Prepare the fresh raspberries in a medium bowl. Optionally, muddle them with a fork.
  3. Mix the chilled chai tea with the muddled raspberries and vanilla extract in a large glass or pitcher.
  4. Sweeten with honey, adjusting to taste, and stir until dissolved.
  5. Serve over ice cubes or frozen raspberries in a tall glass. Garnish with whole raspberries and a mint sprig if desired.

Notes

Feel free to customize with additional fruits, citrus, or even a splash of milk for creaminess.
