Orange Fluff Salad

A sweet and creamy Orange Fluff Salad that brings nostalgia and vibrant flavors to your gatherings.

  • 1 package (3 oz) orange jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the jello: Start by boiling your water in a pot. Once boiling, remove it from heat and pour in the jello mix. Stir it well until it’s completely dissolved—this usually takes about two minutes.
  2. Add cold water: After your jello is fully dissolved, stir in the cold water.
  3. Let it set: Set the jello mixture aside, and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  4. Combine ingredients: Once the mixture is ready, pour in the drained mandarin oranges, mini marshmallows, and shredded coconut (if using). Gently fold these ingredients in until well combined.
  5. Incorporate the cream: Now, gently fold in the whipped cream or Cool Whip. Be gentle to keep this mixture light and airy!
  6. Chill it out: Transfer the salad into a serving bowl or individual cups. Cover it with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Once it’s properly chilled, it’s time to serve! Garnish with extra shredded coconut or fresh mint leaves if desired.
