Turkey Cranberry Panini

A comforting and flavorful panini filled with turkey, cranberry sauce, and Swiss cheese, perfect for casual meals or special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 oz leftover roasted turkey or deli turkey
  • 2 tbsp cranberry sauce
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Slice the turkey, spread cranberry sauce, and have cheese ready.
  2. Assemble the sandwich: Spread cranberry sauce on one side of each slice, layer turkey, and cheese, and top with the other slice.
  3. Heat your panini press or skillet according to instructions or medium heat.
  4. Cook the panini until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes in a press or 3-4 minutes on each side in a skillet.
  5. Slice and serve: Allow to rest for a minute, slice in half, and optionally garnish with arugula.

Notes

Serve warm on a rustic wooden board with crunchy pickles or a fresh green salad. Try adding avocado or pepper jack cheese for a twist.
