Angel Chicken Rice Casserole

A comforting and creamy casserole featuring marinated chicken breasts, rice, and a flavorful sauce, perfect for cozy dinners.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 pack (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by lightly greasing it with cooking spray or olive oil.
  3. Layer 1 cup of uncooked white rice evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  4. Combine the cream of mushroom soup and cream of chicken soup in a mixing bowl, stirring until well blended.
  5. Add the boneless, skinless chicken breasts on top of the rice, seasoning them generously with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the creamy soup mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, covering the rice as well.
  7. Combine the chicken broth with the ranch dressing mix in the same bowl, stirring until well mixed.
  8. Pour the flavorful broth over everything in the dish.
  9. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the casserole.
  10. Dust with paprika for garnish.
  11. Bake covered with aluminum foil for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  12. Cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dish can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge. Increase baking time if starting from the fridge.
