  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or cooking spray.
  3. Prep the chicken by pounding it to an even thickness of about 1 inch.
  4. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for eggs, one for the breadcrumb mixture, and one empty.
  5. Coat the chicken in the egg wash, then dip it in the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Transfer the coated chicken to the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. Rest the chicken for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
