A Tropical Twist on a Classic Favourite, this Pineapple Mango Bruschetta is fresh, flavorful, and perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1 loaf of French baguette
  • 1 cup diced fresh pineapple
  • 1 cup diced fresh mango
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the French baguette into half-inch thick pieces.
  3. Toast the bread on a baking sheet, brushing with olive oil, for about 10 minutes or until golden.
  4. Prepare the tropical salsa by mixing pineapple, mango, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Assemble the bruschetta by topping each piece of bread with the tropical salsa.
  7. Serve and enjoy your delicious dish!

Notes
