Fresh Watermelon Lemonade

A sweet and refreshing watermelon lemonade that captures the essence of summer in every sip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups watermelon, diced
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 2 cups water
  • Ice
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your watermelon: Cut watermelon into manageable chunks — about 1-inch pieces.
  2. Blend and strain: In a blender, combine diced watermelon and one cup of the water. Blend until smooth.
  3. Squeeze those lemons: Roll fresh lemons on the countertop then squeeze into a bowl.
  4. Mixing it all together: In a pitcher, combine watermelon juice, lemon juice, sugar, and remaining water. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  5. Chill out: Let the mixture chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Serve and garnish: Pour over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Adjust sweetness to taste and consider using coconut water or adding a splash of your favorite spirit for an adult twist.
