Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread

A delicious twist on comfort food, this Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread combines creamy Alfredo sauce and tender chicken, loaded onto toasted garlic bread for a scrumptious experience.

  • 2 small chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 Italian style loaf
  • 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning (or salt, pepper, garlic powder)
  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with poultry seasoning and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Make the Alfredo sauce by melting 1 stick of butter in the skillet, adding minced garlic and sautéing for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir until combined.
  6. Add the parmesan and mozzarella cheeses and whisk until melted.
  7. Shred the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Combine the shredded chicken with the Alfredo sauce and stir in parsley and red pepper flakes.
  9. Cut the Italian loaf in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
  10. Mix the remaining butter with minced garlic and spread it on the bread.
  11. Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture over the bread and top with additional mozzarella and parmesan.
  12. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

For variations, consider adding sautéed veggies or using dairy-free alternatives.
